I am interested in the genetic determinants underlying the immense biological diversity in nature. The main goal of my research is mapping trait variation to the gene level and use this information to shed light on the molecular and mutational mechanisms explaining simple and complex trait variation. Common topics of my research include the genetics of speciation, sexual selection, or domestication.
