My background in evolutionary ecology, but I am starting to use genomic tools, with the help of a PhD student with a more molecular take on things. I would not be comfortable as a recommender or reviewer (yet), but I would like to be informed of what is happening in this community, and possibly consider submitting on of his papers later on.
