Possessing a Ph.D. in microbiology, awarded by the Paris Diderot University and earned at the Pasteur Institute, my academic journey spanning two decades has been predominantly dedicated to research in fundamental and applied in silico genomics. My expertise encompasses various domains, such as biocuration, genome and metagenome annotation, transcriptome analysis, comparative and evolutionary genomics, data mining and databases/tools production. My areas of expertise are diverse, as I have worked on genomes of microbes, plants, insects, fish, and humans, to name the primary ones.
